Right of withdrawal

In short

• If you are a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online, without giving any reason.
• Premium, however, is activated immediately: when you buy, you expressly ask for immediate activation and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Italian Consumer Code, Article 59(1)(o)). We confirm this in the receipt email.
• You can still cancel the renewal whenever you want, in two clicks: you won't pay for the following periods.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases by businesses and professionals.

When you have the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal remains if, when you bought, you didn't ask us for immediate activation acknowledging the loss of the right, or if you didn't receive the confirmation by email. In these cases you can withdraw within 14 days of the contract being made, that is, of the subscription being approved on PayPal.

For the online services included in Premium that you asked to receive during those 14 days, if you then withdraw you only pay the part proportional to what you received until you told us (Italian Consumer Code, Article 57(3)).

How to exercise it

Before the deadline, send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw by email to [email protected] or by post to [RAGIONE SOCIALE], [INDIRIZZO]. You can use the model form below, but you don't have to. To find your subscription quickly, include your account email and the purchase date or the PayPal transaction number. We confirm receipt by email.

To meet the deadline it is enough to send your statement before the 14 days are over.

What happens next

We refund all payments received under the contract without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we receive your statement, through PayPal to the same payment method and at no cost to you (except for any proportional part described above).

The subscription is closed and the license revoked: Premium features turn off at the app's next check. The app and your vault keep working on the Free plan.

Withdrawing and cancelling the renewal are not the same

Cancelling the renewal (from the customer area, Subscription → Cancel renewal, or from PayPal) is always possible: it stops future charges, Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid and that period is not refunded. Withdrawal, where it applies, ends the contract and leads to a refund.
